Inspection stickers
inspection stickers are used in quality assurance (QA) processes according to DIN ISO 9000 ff, in association with,
e.g. legally stipulated inspections and within the context of the German Accident Prevention Guidelines (UVV). This
especially applies to the monitoring of testing devices, equipment and systems, as well as important lines (cable, pipe).
There are two ways to affix the inspection stickers: directly onto the inspected equipment or onto one of the basic stickers
provided, which are affixed to the equipment. The date of inspection is documented with a writing instrument or punch pliers.
The inspection stickers consist of tamper-proof document foil, i.e. to prevent misuse, the sticker is irrevocably destroyed
when an attempt is made to remove it.
Document foil properties
The document foil can be marked using pencil, pen, felt pen or typewriter. It is 0.05 mm thick and temperature-resistant
from –30 °C to +80 °C. The adhesive strength is greater than the tear strength of the foil.
The foil breaks when removed and is largely resistant to ageing, weather and light. It is also resistant to
water, salt water, alcohol, aliphatic solvents such as petroleum-based oils and fats.

Basic stickers
the self-adhesive basic sticker consists of white, markable plastic foil, to which stickers can repeatedly be applied.
It adheres well to a clean surface and is destroyed when removed. The document foil is resistant to water,
aliphatic solvents and petroleum-based oils and fats

Identification of conductors
the self-adhesive foil symbols for the identification of non-insulated and insulated conductors, housing, switch cabinets
and equipment are available in different sizes on a sheet for rapid application. The symbols correspond to the German
Industrial Standards DIN 40 009, DIN 40 011 and the IEC. Material: Self-adhesive PVC foil with lamination, 0.10 mm strength.
Temperature-resistant from –30 °C to +100 °C, soil-resistant, long-lasting adhesion. ø: 12.5 mm
