See all. There are several beaches and creeks in Ile de Frioul. It takes about 20 mins to get across. It is advisable to choose a beach before landing on the islands because they are large and there is lots of choice, the most beautiful ones are quickly full (spaces are limited). Prices looked slights higher than Marseille (as you would expect) but it was a beautiful place for a meal, so probably worth it. From ‘le vieux port’ the return boat ticket was 11 Euros. However, it has to be earned because it is the farthest beach of the port (it takes between 45 minutes and 1 hour to walk there).
