I have been here many times but I never had a chance to drop a review. Located in Oshima, 1.5 miles from Motomachi Port, Marine Plaza Y's Dream provides accommodations with a shared lounge, free private parking and a garden. We added monkfish liver and takowasa. We love Oshima and were so happy to know they are doing take out! Uni - because I'm a fan11. The serene town guarantees you with amazing star gazing views at the night and sunrise in the morning. The landlady was extremely accommodating and went the extra step to ensure our stay was a magnificent success.
It was also a great price. from $169/night. It's a small restaurant that does take reservations but good luck in trying to make one. You have to call between 5pm to 5:30pm, but they don't pick up at 5pm. Another con is the real omakase experience is only available by the bar! We've sent you an email so you can confirm your subscription. 28 reviews. Since it was my bf's first omakase, I really wanted him to get the full experience. You deserve a break. I arrived around 5:30pm as we didn't have any reservations. Located a 13-minute walk from Okada Port and 2.8 miles from Motomachi Port, 島ぐらしカフェ chigoohagoo has accommodations in Oshima. I still can't believe omakase was just $45. The restaurant is small and set up a little dark makes it private for people sitting around you. The place was filled with young diners and would be a great place to bring friends and family! You have to call between 5pm to 5:30pm, but they don't pick up at 5pm.
Located in Oshima, just 8 miles from Oshima Park Zoo, 島の宿 近 〜KON〜 has accommodations with free bikes, a garden and free WiFi. Get exclusive access to members-only deals by email. Super authentic food and great staff, best sushi I've ever had hands down. It didn't bother us too much since everything was amazing, but it would have been nice to know so that we can get more of it in the future.
Ohshima directly ruined my sushi standards because I can't fully enjoy sushi anymore unless it's up to Ohshima quality! Kimura-san is a friendly lady whom we enjoyed talking to in spite of the language barriers. Public transport is infrequent and relatively expensive. All I need to say it, once you comes to this restaurant you have no regrets at all.
We went with the omakase and it was quite delicious. Nice spot to escape Tokyo for a short while.
Their uni spaghetti is cooked al dente in an uni cream sauce with bits of uni. The uni was so fresh. Izuoshimaokadako Kyakusen Machiaijo Restaurant Izushichi Maru. During the pandemic the restaurant looks more clean and safety with social distances and all the chefs wearing the face shields. Reservations can only be made up to a week in advance by calling between 5 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. I'm stoked to finally try the dine in sometime soon now that they are open on the inside for it. There was only bar seating available which I was disappointed to hear because my reclusive nature tends to sit at the table...Due to COVID social skills taking a hit and those silent interactions with the Japanese chef make me feel a little awkward as he watches me eat...but I was too hungry. In fact I was pleasantly surprised by the chef who was very friendly and made me feel comfortable.

We tried the green tea flan and the red beans and ice cream.Cons:Service- We came here for dinner on a Friday night and the wait was over an hour. Okay I have been coming here for years and I keep on coming…", "Just an update: Since my visit one week ago, I checked my debit card statement and found I was charged $12 more than what I signed for on 11-3-18. Sparkling clean, new amenities, full house to ourselves. Excellent Omakase experience sitting at the bar. All parties must be present to be seated, no exceptions! So fresh and so so good!
Some places give you 3-4 pieces at a time, which I think is a better experience. Although there are seats available upon opening, they will space out taking people in to give enough time for the sushi chefs to prepare and make the dishes.
Ohshima never disappoints! Takeout is good but there is nothing quite like getting omakase at the bar.
