The location which is right by the beach. Set on a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, Hotel Ancora is only 1640 feet from Positano's Big Beach. This delightful place began as a b&b, fared well, and was later converted into the elegant mid-price hotel it is today. It is the best apartment we ever stayed at. Incredible view, comfy bed, clean room, good location, very friendly staff. Food at breakfast really good (very limited selection, but delicious). The view from my garden room #22 was one of the best in many stays here.
